The Vitamin Shoppe in Ashland, VA is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate for our Ashland, Virginia Distribution Center. Shift: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 am–5:30 pm, with overtime; pay is $16 per hour.

You will handle inbound/outbound processes, use RF scanners, and follow safety and quality standards while maintaining productivity and attendance. Safety, teamwork, and a positive, compliant work environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to operate handheld RF scanner and Warehouse Management System devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assigned warehouse functions using established processes, procedures, and tools while meeting performance expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and attendance.
• Functions may include loading, unloading, put-away, picking, packing, replenishing, and shipping.
• Comply with The Vitamin Shoppe’s policies, guidelines, and procedures as well as state, federal regulations, and OSHA requirements in the storage, handling, and movement of product.
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Inform the Operation Manager or Lead of any problems and actively participate in process improvements.

Ashland, VA – Weekday Shift. Full‑time Warehouse Associate based in our Ashland, Virginia Distribution Center. Schedule: Monday‑Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm (plus overtime).

Compensation

$16 per hour.

Overview

This position, which may vary depending on specific job assignment, performs tasks associated with the storage, processing, and shipment of product while meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and behavioral expectations. The role effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment (including RF scanners), and technologies to complete transactions related to inbound and outbound processes within the Warehouse / Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assigned warehouse functions using established processes, procedures, and tools while meeting performance expectations for safety, quality, productivity, and attendance. Functions may include, but are not limited to, loading, unloading, put‑away, picking, packing, replenishing, and shipping.
• Comply with The Vitamin Shoppe’s policies, guidelines, and procedures as well as state, federal regulations, and OSHA requirements in the storage, handling, and movement of product.
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Inform the Operation Manager or Lead of any problems and actively participate in process improvements.
