Job summary

Herff Jones is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our production and distribution team. You will pull, pack, and inspect graduation apparel orders under the supervision of the warehouse supervisor, learning production standards and the product lines.

Candidates should be self-motivated with basic computer skills, reading and math abilities, and the ability to read English. Overtime is required; lifting up to 30 lbs and long shifts are common in this fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the warehouse supervisor, you will be responsible for pulling, packing, and inspect graduation apparel orders.

What You’ll Be Doing On A Daily Basis:

• Will learn to meet production and quality standards for this operation
• Will learn how to train and direct new personnel
• Will learn about all product lines and processes in the warehouse
• Ability to select material by quality standards, colors, styles and shades
• Ability to recognize colors and different cloth styles

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.
• Must be able to carry, push, pull, and lift up to 30lbs
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate
• Physical strength and dexterity to perform essential job functions
• Must be able to stand for 8-12 hour shifts
