This labor-intensive position is responsible for hand building pallets of product for bulk, route trucks, and raw materials. Responsibilities include ensuring order accuracy during loading and unloading, using electronic systems or sheets, and operating forklifts or electronic pallet jacks. The role requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment and working in various weather conditions with flexible hours depending on workload.

Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets onto trailers and removing returned pallets or flats. Unloading raw materials into designated warehouse areas is also required.

Bulk truck loading includes selecting and stacking designated products onto pallets, ensuring stability through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping, and loading trailers for local delivery. Unloading returned products is also part of the duties.

Route truck loading entails selecting specific packages or pallets based on sales orders, loading them into trucks, and handling returned products and pallets.

This position involves lifting 20-45 pounds repeatedly, standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping throughout the shift.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Operate power pallet jacks or forklifts to build loads according to orders
• Mark load tickets for out-of-stock items
• Wrap pallets upon completion
• Verify paperwork before loading and checking trucks
• Stage and load pallets into trucks
• Complete partial and mixed pallets
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area
• Maintain reliable attendance

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must be 18 years or older

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE :

• Warehouse experience, including order picking, staging, and operating powered equipment
• Forklift operation skills
• Experience with racking systems and pallet handling
• Teamwork and problem-solving skills
