Technica LLC seeks to fill a Warehouse Assistant Supervisor (AY1) position to perform on a Government Contract with a place of performance under Ft. Bliss, TX.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, highly organized, and experienced Warehouse Assistant Supervisor to support our warehouse operations. Working under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor, the ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining strict compliance with all relevant military regulations, local and state laws, performance work statement, and company policies and standard operating procedures. This critical role directly supports military supply and logistics systems (including GCSS–Army), requiring a strong, proactive leader who can thrive in a dynamic, high-stakes tactical or logistical environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  1. Operational Support & Systems Management
    • System Utilization: Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in utilizing the Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS–A) and other related Logistics Information Systems (LIS) for local, depot, and supply activities. Systems will include but not limited to the Cargo Movement Operations System (CMOS), Vantage, and the Stock Readiness Data Portal (SRDP).
    • Daily Operations: Support and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse, including issuing, shipping, receiving, storage, packing, crating, and inventory management.
    • Technical Supply Management: Help supervise complex supply functions, including cataloging, property utilization, material requisitioning, and stock control.
    • Issue Resolution: Actively investigate and resolve supply action problems, customer concerns, tracking discrepancies and implementing corrective actions in a timely manner.
  2. Leadership & Personnel Management
    • Supervisory Assistance: Assist in organizing and directing the workforce to ensure mission accomplishment and overall productivity.
    • Performance Tracking: Support the supervisor in executing personnel management tasks, including conducting employee performance reviews, documenting training, and providing disciplinary counseling.
    • Time & Attendance: Review and verify employee time sheets and work schedules to optimize labor allocation.
    • Talent Acquisition: Assist in screening job applications, conducting interviews, and making recommendations for hiring new warehouse personnel.
  3. Compliance, Safety, and Security
    • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure that all subordinate personnel adhere strictly to local policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), AR 710-2, AR 710-4, DA PAM 710-2-2, AR 735-5, AR 190-11, and all other applicable federal/military regulatory guidance.
    • Safety Standards: Help monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, with specific focus on Forklift operations, hazardous materials (HAZMAT) handling, and physical security measures.
    • Audit Readiness: Support regular inventory audits, security inspections, and workplace evaluations to maintain 100% compliance with AR 735-5.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Qualifications
  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance is a mandatory requirement.
  • Age / Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; minimum age of 18.
  • Driver's License: Must hold and maintain a valid state driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to work in a warehouse, depot, or storage yard environment that may be dusty, noisy, hot, or cold. Able to perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations (standing, walking, lifting).
Preferred Education & Experience
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Logistics, or a related discipline is highly preferred. Equivalent experience (8+ years in a military supply-related field) or graduation from civilian/military service schools will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Military Match: Prior experience as an Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 92A (Automated Logistical Specialist) or 920B (Quartermaster Technician) is highly desirable.
  • Logistical Background: Demonstrated8+ years experience with military supply and logistics systems at the Brigade level or above.
  • Tech-Savviness: High proficiency in U.S. Army Logistics Information Systems (LIS) and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
