Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking a Warehouse Assistant I to support franchise and corporate warehouse order fulfillment. You will receive, store and distribute materials, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all orders; daily cycle counts; restock and safeguard inventory.

You will learn to work across departments and help meet daily deadlines, with a focus on safety and efficient order processing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Will be trained to work efficiently in all warehouse departments to meet daily order requirements and ship the same day.
• Fulfill franchise and in-house parcel and freight orders; pick, pack, wrap, label, load and ship.
• Perform daily cycle counts and restock, rotate, and safeguard inventory items.
• Support efforts to enhance the franchise-customer experience.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and assist across departments as needed.
• Assist with department resources and company goals; support events and conventions.

• You have Ability to read write and communicate with employees customers suppliers in person on the phone and by written communications in a clear straight forward and professional manner

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel and talk or hear
• The employee frequently is required to stand and sit
• Ability to lift push or move up to 75 lbs individually

Education

High School Diploma or GED with one year work related experience in a warehouse environment
