Job summary

Quest-Events-LLC is seeking a Warehouse Assistant/Driver to support the operations team with warehouse duties, event prep, and equipment delivery and pickup. The role extends to on-site installation and dismantling during events when required and involves maintaining asset accuracy and organization.

The position requires 1+ year in event industry or warehouse work, fluency in English, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the accuracy of inventoried assets on a daily basis.
• Assist with maintaining quality control of assets by checking for cleanliness, damage, and manage accordingly through company process for repair.
• Facilitate internal equipment transfers.
• Maintain inventory of equipment assigned to events through accuracy of company paperwork.
• Follow warehouse safety and regulations.
• Knowledgeable in all products Quest Events offers, including installation and dismantling.
• Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of warehouse area.
• Responsible for driving related duties such as gear drop off/pickup.

Description

The Warehouse Assistant/Driver works on the Operations team by assisting with warehouse operations and delivery and pickup duties. Responsible for assisting with the care of inventoried assets, prepping equipment for events, delivering, and facilitating client pickups are the main focuses of this role. This position is an extension of the on-site teams, and as such, business levels at times dictate the need to take part in the installation and dismantle of events.

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager and Director of Production, primary responsibilities include:

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 1+ year of experience in the Event Industry or warehouse job experience.

Driver Requirements:

• Possess a valid, unexpired drivers license
• Submit to an annual driving record review (No DUIs, etc).
• This position is required to pass a DOT physical. Must be able to pass written and practical driving tests.
• Must be able to drive all company vehicles, including medium-duty trucks.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 62lbs and work on a step ladder without exceeding maximum weight allowance.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend throughout the day for extended periods of time.
