Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the Operations team, ensuring product quality standards and daily inventory accuracy. You’ll manage asset preparation for events, coordinate shipping and client pickups, and participate in on-site installation and dismantling as needed.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll train staff, enforce safety, maintain paperwork, and optimize asset transfers and event inventory.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma required. Associates Degree preferred.
• 2+ Years of Experience in the Event Industry or customer service related job experience.
• Ability to adapt to varying schedule including weekends, holidays, evenings.
• Inventory and shipping experience preferred.
• Fluent English (speaking/writing)
• Strong time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the accuracy of inventoried assets daily.
• Managing quality control of assets (cleanliness, damage, repairs).
• Facilitating internal equipment transfers.
• Maintaining inventory of equipment assigned to events with paperwork accuracy.
• Ensure warehouse safety and regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of all Quest Events products, including installation/dismantling.
• Train employees on asset maintenance/handling processes.
• Keep warehouse area organized and clean.

Description

The Warehouse Manager provides leadership, support, and training to the Operations team by ensuring to product quality standards. Daily management of all inventoried assets, prepping equipment for events, shipping, and facilitating client pickups are the main focuses of this role.

This position is an extension of the on-site teams, and as such, business levels at times dictate the need to take part in the installation and dismantle of events.

Under the supervision of the General Manager, primary responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the accuracy of inventoried assets on a daily basis
• Managing the quality control of assets by checking for cleanliness, damage, and manage accordingly through company process for repair
• Facilitating internal equipment transfers
• Maintain inventory of equipment assigned to events through accuracy of company paperwork
• Ensure warehouse safety and regulations are followed
• Knowledgeable in all products Quest Events offers, including installation and dismantling
• Train employees on proper assets maintenance and handling processes
• Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of warehouse area

Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Education: High School diploma required. Associates Degree preferred.
• 2+ Years of Experience in the Event Industry or customer service related job experience.
• Ability to adapt to and maintain a varying schedule and work weekends, holidays, and evenings, as needed.
• Management of inventory and shipping experience preferred
• Must be able to speak, write, and understand English fluently.
• Must be able to positively interact with others on a daily basis and be open to constructive criticism.
• Time Management, attention to detail, and organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quest-related computer programs.
• Maintain a professional appearance
• Must be able to problem solve and prioritize needs on a daily basis.

Driver Requirements:

• Possess a valid, unexpired drivers license
• Submit to an annual driving record review (No DUIs, etc).
• This position is required to pass a DOT physical. Must be able to pass written and practical driving tests.
• Must be able to drive all company vehicles, including medium-duty trucks.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 62lbs and work on a step ladder without exceeding maximum weight allowance.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
