Job summary

Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric in Denver is seeking a delivery/warehouse associate to support Service Technicians by delivering equipment and inventories from the warehouse and vendors. You will also assist with site cleanups and maintain inventory, ensuring timely communications with Dispatch and accurate paperwork.

Responsibilities include restocking, verifying parts, and learning basic vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 55 lbs (85 lbs occasionally).
• Read and interpret maps and GPS directions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years old to drive a company vehicle.
• Background checks and drug screenings are part of the employment process.

• Deliver equipment, materials, and tools to Service Technicians in the field.
• Assist in removing old materials from the jobsite and disposing of them.
• Fill truck inventory requests daily.
• Restock and label inventory in the warehouse.
• Communicate delivery times and assignments with Dispatch to maximize turnaround.
• Return and reorganize usable service items to the service vehicle or warehouse.
• Verify content, quality, and quantity of parts against Material Request Form.
• Complete and process internal and external paperwork as needed.
• Perform general grounds maintenance around the office.
• Use and maintain tools or equipment found in the warehouse or on fleet vehicles.
• Learn to perform emergency vehicle repairs and basic maintenance.
• Communicate clearly, build rapport with employees.
• Shape company culture by ethics and integrity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
