The Shop / Warehouse Services position shall perform all warehousing, building maintenance, inventory and associated assigned duties.
Responsibilities:
- Manage materials for projects and service orders. Includes pulling material from stock, ordering material (as required for projects / service orders) and re-stocking materials returned from projects/service orders. This function includes paperwork to ensure that materials are accounted for to support accounting/billing functions. Materials include stock, purchased materials and materials transferred to/from other divisions.
- Maintain stock of standard materials. Includes developing list of standard materials and weekly review of material.
- Maintain supply of consumables (welding rod, gasses, grinding discs, etc.).
- Develop and manage tool check out sheet.
- Process all inventory transactions for the Sioux City Location. Includes truck inventory, North and South Shop inventory transactions.
- Assist Tri Tech Sales with pulling Customer orders and process UPS shipments each day.
- Organize and repair of tools. Develop system for field personnel to report defective tools, repair tags and repair tools. Repair of tools may be by internal or external sources.
- Maintain shop equipment is in proper working order and cleanliness.
- Load & unload outgoing/incoming materials and shipments, inspecting and properly document incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Pick-up and delivery services as assigned.
- Vehicle Maintenance. Includes maintaining logs for standard vehicle maintenance. Includes ensuring that vehicles have DOT inspections, spare tires, jacks, and fire extinguishers, etc. Maintain logs for standard vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation, inspections, etc.)
- Perform monthly fire extinguisher checks.
- Perform monthly shop safety audit.
- Maintain grounds which includes mowing, snow removal, etc.
- Perform building repairs as needed.
- Keep shop in a clean, safe manner at all times.
- Assist in monitoring of Company safety policies, procedures, and workplace safety issues to assure a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by RMS Management Team.
Education/Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience
.
Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, tactful, organized, results and goal-oriented professional.
- Driven by a desire to satisfy internal customers and provide a high level of customer service.
- Computer literate with good work knowledge of office products, equipment, and procedures.
- Possess and maintain driver’s license. This includes skills with trailers.
- Must posses prioritizing / organizational / multitasking and stress management skills.
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must be able to climb ladders and be able to walk a significant amount of time.
- Must be able to read / hear / write / spell / type and speak English clearly. Must be able to understand and follow written instructions, communicate effectively orally and written, and must be able to listen effectively.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
