Job summary

Midland Tool & Supply in Oak Park is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to aid in inventory management and prepare outgoing products for shipment. The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities include assisting with incoming and outgoing products, managing order adjustments, and reporting inventory issues. A chauffeur's license is preferred for local deliveries, along with the ability to lift 50 lbs. Competitive pay and a great benefits package are offered.

Job Description

To assist with our expanding business needs, we are looking to hire a Warehouse Assistant to help us receive our inventory and prepare our outgoing products.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing all incoming product/Inventory
• Assist in managing all outgoing orders
• Check for shortage or overage of quantities
• Stage orders
• Make quantity adjustments to orders
• Report inventory issues to Warehouse Manager

Requirements for Job:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs at one time
• Must be detail oriented
• Preferred hilo driving experience
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, typically over 40 -50 hours per week
• Warehouse experience (shipping/receiving) preferred.

We are looking for someone who has a chauffeur's licenses and could help us with local deliveries on occasion.
