We’re a small, hands‑on team looking for a reliable and flexible Warehouse Assistant to support our operations on an as‑needed (casual) basis.

This role will primarily focus on warehouse and dispatch tasks, with additional involvement in the assembly of our livestock handling equipment when required.

For the first 6 weeks, you’ll also play a key role covering our Sales team member while they are on leave — providing support across customer orders, dispatch coordination, and general operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to get their foot in the door, with potential to move into a full‑time permanent role.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately
• Receiving and organizing incoming stock
• Supporting inventory control and stock management
• Operating equipment (e.g. forklifts) to load and unload goods safely
• Assisting with shipping documentation and order verification
• Assembling livestock handling equipment as required
• Supporting day‑to‑day operations, including basic admin coverage during staff absence
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organized workspace

What We’re Looking For

• Previous warehouse, dispatch, or logistics experience preferred
• Comfortable with physical work and regular heavy lifting
• Forklift experience or licence is a strong advantage
• Practical/mechanical aptitude (for assembly work)
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• A flexible, “jump in where needed” attitude
• Good communication skills — especially during the temporary sales support period
