Position Summary:

The Warehouse Assistant will assist the Warehouse Manager in managing daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment. They are responsible for following all security and safety protocols to maintain efficient warehouse conditions.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure the warehouse is clean and organized.
• Ensure all warehouse equipment is safe and operational.
• Manage data entry to track goods quantities and locations accurately.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Perform office duties as required.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and teamwork.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with staff, employees, and the public.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate hand, power, and pneumatic tools; read tape measures.
• Forklift experience required; two years’ experience preferred.
• OSHA Certification in Forklift Operations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL A License preferred.
• Knowledge of rigging, cranes, and commercial moving and storage.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with shipping and receiving.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handle objects, operate equipment, and communicate effectively. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, along with focus adjustment.
