Job summary

Tekgence Inc is seeking an IT Asset Management Associate to support inventory, shipping and receiving, and to maintain accurate asset records ensuring compliance, traceability, and deployment readiness. You will perform regular inventory audits, unbox and tag devices, update CMDB records, and print shipping labels for remote users or other locations to keep assets organized and ready.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Ship and receive equipment following established procedures and timelines.
• Unbox, inspect, tag, and prepare devices for deployment or storage.
• Update CMDB records to reflect current asset status (e.g., returned, retired, scrapped, shipped).
• Print and apply shipping labels for equipment sent to remote users or other company locations.
• Generate and distribute return labels for remote users returning company issued equipment.
• Maintain detailed shipping and receiving logs to support audit requirements and asset traceability.

• Ship and receive equipment in accordance with established procedures and timelines

• Update and maintain CMDB records to reflect current asset status (e.g., returned, retired, scrapped, shipped)
• Print and apply shipping labels for equipment sent to remote users or other company locations
• Generate and distribute return labels for remote users returning company issued equipment
• Maintain detailed shipping and receiving logs to support audit requirements and asset traceability
