Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily warehouse workflow and schedules staff for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Manages daily shipping operations: order processing, inventory tracking, documentation, and transportation oversight.
• Investigates shipping quality concerns, damages, and lost freight claims.
• Builds and maintains relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and vendors.
• Ensures milestones are met within approved budgets and drives cost initiatives.
• Holds authority for personnel actions including hiring and training new staff.
• Coordinates with production, purchasing, and customer service to resolve material or delivery issues.
• Identifies opportunities to improve warehouse operations and implement changes.
• Enforces safety policies and proper forklift operation, PPE use, and incident reporting.
• Communicates with customers on shipment arrangements and freight quoting.
• Coordinates with drivers and equipment as required.
• Supports audits, inventories, and cross-functional projects.
