Placements24 is recruiting a Warehouse and Logistics Associate to join a busy operations team in Upington, Northern Cape. The role is hands-on, on-site, handling receiving, packing, dispatching, and supporting outbound logistics with a focus on accuracy and safety.

The ideal candidate should be physically fit, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic inventory knowledge and willingness to learn are essential, with forklift certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics is preferred but not required.
• Able to lift and move heavy items up to 25 kg.
• Basic understanding of inventory management.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods with accurate inventory counts.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the warehouse.
• Conduct inventory checks and assist with stocktaking procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
• Assist logistics coordinators with shipment tracking and documentation.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Identify and report damaged goods or inventory discrepancies.
• Support other warehouse and logistics functions as needed.
