Job summary

KBR, Inc is looking for a Warehouse and Kitting Technician to join the PID team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role involves bagging and tagging items for technical builds and managing inventory accurately while ensuring high standards of quality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, demonstrated by at least 2 years of relevant experience, and is adept at building wire harnesses.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• 2 years’ experience building wire harnesses.

Responsibilities

• Bag and tag items for technical builds.
• Correctly identify, count, isolate and label inventory items.
• Perform wire marking with a laser marking machine.
• Manage and print labels for bags, boxes and wire.
• Read and interpret Bills of Material, Pick Lists, and drawings.

Program Summary

KBR’s Aviation & Ground Systems Directorate provides Systems Engineering & Integration support to the Army’s Aviation and Ground soldiers with project based and full‑time personnel support services. KBR sets the standard with a wide range of services including Government Engineering, Logistics, Business, and International focuses, while ensuring customer satisfaction and providing excellence in contract deliverables. The Prototype, Integration, and Design (PID) facility manufactures and integrates electronic components into both ground and aviation systems in support of DoD and Commercial applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC-610, IPC-620, and J-STD certification
• Experience with electronics or electronic components
• Experience identifying wire and electronic components
