Job summary

Compost Crusader, LLC is seeking a Warehouse and Delivery Team Member to manage inventory, prepare orders, and deliver compostable products to members and customers. You will work in our Wisconsin warehouse and on the road in a box truck, contributing to our sustainability mission and reliable service.

You will load and unload, maintain orderly spaces, use StopSuite for routing and tracking, and collaborate with teammates to improve efficiency while upholding safety and customer care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and organize warehouse space efficiently.
• Prepare and package orders for delivery to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Drive our box truck safely and efficiently.
• Deliver products to customers in a timely manner, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery areas.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Utilize our software, StopSuite, for routing and order tracking purposes.
• Perform "post-sorts" of compostable items from front of house and event composting to ensure no trash ends up in our compost feed stocks

The Role

As a Warehouse and Delivery Team Member, you will be responsible for managing inventory, preparing orders, and delivering products to our customers. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries, supporting our commitment to sustainability. This member of our team is a key part of our "clean swap" composting service, as well as for delivering all the compostable items our members order. You will work in the Compost Crusader warehouse, and on the road in our box truck for deliveries.

What You'll Do

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience for 32-40 hours per week
