Job summary
Viking Electric in Duluth, MN, is hiring a Warehouse Associate & Back-Up Delivery Driver. This full-time role supports daily warehouse operations and may assist with local deliveries. You will ensure materials are received, stored, and shipped safely and accurately.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card. You’ll work with a team in a warehouse environment with early start times and local deliveries.
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Motor Vehicle Policy requirements.
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials safely using manual methods or powered industrial equipment.
- Receive, count, check, and process incoming and outgoing materials.
- Pick, pack, label, palletize, and route materials for delivery or storage.
- Complete paperwork and data entry using warehouse systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Deliver materials to customers safely and efficiently on multi-stop routes (back-up).
- Load/unload delivery vehicles using proper equipment and techniques.
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Assist with routing coordination and provide feedback for efficiency improvements.

Schedule: 4am start, Monday - Friday
Hourly pay: $21.00 - $26.00/hr (pay increases with delivery driving experience)
Distance: Local deliveries - retrun home each night

Viking Electric is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate & Back-Up Delivery Driver to join our team. This hybrid role supports daily warehouse operations while also stepping in to assist with local customer deliveries when needed.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and shipped—and safely delivered to customers.

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and outdoor delivery conditions
- Warehouse setting with active equipment and material movement
- Delivery driving in varied weather conditions and job sites
- Use of equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and delivery vehicles
