Job summary

Air General Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Agent - Air Cargo at our Denver International Airport facility to handle inbound/outbound cargo and paperwork with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires operating warehouse equipment, meeting security standards, and collaborating with teammates to ensure timely cargo movement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a valid airport SIDA badge.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid US Driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
• Clear communication in English for essential job functions.
• Pre-employment screenings and airport/government security checks required.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift, tug and pallet jack.
• Process customer paperwork and shipping information.
• Load/unload air cargo from/to vehicles/trucks.
• Prepare, palletize, and/or breakdown cargo as needed.
• Ensure paperwork related to cargo is accurate.
• Ensure proper handling and delivery of cargo.
• Clean up and sweep warehouse and dispose of garbage.
• Maintain safe operation of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow Hazmat and Security Requirements and Regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/management.

DescriptionAir General, a third-generation, family-owned, national cargo handling company, is looking for a full time Warehouse Agent - Air Cargo at our facility located at the Denver International Airport in Denver, Colorado.
Warehouse duties include handling the transfer of cargo to and from our client and their customers, with a strict adherence to safety and security procedures. The successful candidate should demonstrate the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Job Responsibilities Include

Requirements

• Candidates must possess some intermediate computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs.
• Must be able to clearly understand and communicate in English when performing essential job functions.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and airport/government security background checks, applicable Custom Security Seal, and post offer drug screens.
• Be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Some travel may be required for airline specific training.

Schedule: 12:30pm - 9pm
