Job summary

Pegasus Logistics Group in Miami, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to move materials within a warehouse and perform essential support tasks. The role involves unloading, picking, packing, counting, and verifying items while ensuring safety and accuracy.

You will operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or motorized conveyors per safety policies, and input or view data in a warehouse management system. English proficiency and basic computer skills are required to document inventory and comply

Job Profile Summary:

Moves materials within a warehouse and completes other warehouse support tasks.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs various operations, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory. Operates hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures. View or input information into a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other database. Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of related experience
• Knowledge of storage/handling techniques and safety regulations
• Knowledge of warehouse management system
• Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this position.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Forklift certification
• 3+ years of related experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds
• Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
• Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
• The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
