Qualifications

• 2 years of clerical experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic transportation, logistics and shipping experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the check in of all drivers.
• Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
• Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
• Sorts, counts, packages, labels, insure, unpacks, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
• Print all pertinent paper work for shipping.
• Coordinate with carriers and customers for door loading information and required paperwork.
• Update reports as required by operations manager and COO.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.
