Job summary

Nor-Am Cold Storage in Le Mars, IA is seeking a warehouse dock associate for a 10:30pm-7:00am shift. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, with possible overtime. You will scan, wrap pallets, load/unload trailers using a forklift, and build pallets for customer orders.

Candidates should be able to work in a cold environment (-20F to 80F), stand for the full shift, and lift up to 50 pounds. Entry-level applicants are welcome, with 2 years of forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Entry level candidates are welcome!
• 2 years of warehouse experience with forklift operation.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic dock tasks such as scanning, wrapping pallets.
• Use material handling equipment to load and unload trailers.
• Perform start and end of shift tasks including sweeping and cleaning in the warehouse.
• Some manual material handling may be required.
• Case picking and building pallets as required by customers.

Preferred Experience and Education

• Entry level candidates are welcome!
• 2 years of warehouse experience with forklift operation.
• HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Our warehouse is cold. You must be able to work in a wide range of temperatures from -20F to 80F. You must be able to walk or stand for the entire 8 hour shift and to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
