Job summary

Holmen Cheese, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Team Member on 2nd shift to prepare production for shipping, handle shipping/receiving, and manage inventory in a fast-paced environment. The role includes operating a stand-up forklift and using JustFoods ERP to track movements.

Responsibilities include cage/de-cage tasks, palletizing, loading/unloading trucks, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring accurate documentation. A 3-5 year warehouse background and proficiency with ERP systems are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience working within an ERP system.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP software.

• Ensure production has the needed materials ready for their production runs.
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.
• Ensure a high degree of detail and quality on every job.
• Control and organize storage and inventory space.
• Inspect trucks for sanitary conditions on all shipments and complete inbound/outbound documentation.
• Prepare bills of lading with product, carrier, seal, and temperature details.

Holmen Cheese has an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Team Member on 2nd shift. In this role your primary focus will be working in a warehouse getting production ready to ship, shipping/receiving, and inventory control. It is a fast pace, physical position with the occasional use of a stand-up lift truck.

Requirements

What you will do:

• Cage and De-Cage product to prepare it for shipping


• Use a vacuum lift assist device to move product


• Palletize product to prepare for shipping


• Ensure security of warehouse (doors sealed, lights in working order, docks plates and levelers in good condition)


• Enter warehouse operations in JustFoods ERP


• Drive stand up forklift to load according to load sheet


• Load and unload trucks


• Ensure production has the needed materials ready for their production runs


• Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work are met


• Ensure a high degree of detail and quality on every job


• Control and organize storage and inventory space


• Inspects trucks for appropriate sanitary conditions on all incoming and outgoing shipments. Fill out inbound/outbound inspection documentation


• Ensure seals are placed on all out-going shipments and ensure seals are intact on in-coming shipments. Prepare bills of lading inclusive of product information, common carrier information, seal number and temperature requirement.
