Job summary

Ascend Staffing in Spencer, IA is seeking motivated general warehouse workers for night shifts 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, Monday through Friday with some Saturdays. You'll unload pallets, move products, and support inventory and logistics software data entry.

Requirements include forklift experience, GED or high school diploma, ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally, pass a pre-employment drug screen, and the ability to work in the US.

Weekly Pay

General Warehouse Tasks & Duties

• Receive and unload pallets and products
• Perform general labor duties as required
• Move items around warehouse
• Operate a forklift
• Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
• Move product from and to pallets

General Warehouse Shift Info

• Night Shift, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am
• Monday - Friday
• Some Saturdays may be required

General Warehouse Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• General Warehouse experience preferred
• Able to handle an environment with temperatures ranging -20 - 50 degrees
• Forklift experience required
• GED / High School Diploma
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to work in the US
• Solid work history that demonstrates reliability
• Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 50 or morepoundsregularly
• Able to lift 70 pounds occasionally
• Read schedules, BOL's and/or other shipping paperwork.
• Remove any broken pallet pieces, straps or other contaminants on the floor in path of forklift.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs anddatabases
• Excellent attendance with a stable work history
• Able to move items around warehouse
• Able to pass a backgroundcheck
• Able to work in the US.
