Job summary

Dixie Plywood & Lumber Co. of Orlando in Orlando, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and move building materials. The role involves loading and unloading materials, reading orders, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment to support efficient deliveries.

Candidates should be able to operate a forklift, perform basic arithmetic, and communicate effectively with customers who come to pick up materials. Monday–Friday schedule with possible overtime expected.

Qualifications

• Must read customer orders, shipping orders, purchase orders, and/or bills of lading to determine items to move or distribute.
• Must be able to count and perform simple arithmetic.
• Must move material by forklift or manually to unload incoming materials and load outgoing deliveries.
• Must identify products and accurately handle items per company documents.
• Must keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Must maintain good business relations with customers who come to pick up material.

Job Details: Job Location: Dixie Plywood & Lumber Co. of Orlando - Orlando, FL 32810, Position Type: Full Time, Job Category: Warehouse, Receive, store, load and move building materials in the warehouse and in the loading of trucks. Workweek is Monday through Friday and may requiresome overtime work.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to effectively and safely handle a forklift
• Must be able to read the customer order, shipping order, purchase order, and/or bill of lading to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Must be able to count and perform simple arithmetic
• Must be able to physically move material either by forklift or by hand to unload incoming materials from railcars, trucks; and, to load outgoing deliveries
• Must be able to identify products and accurately handle items specified on written company documents
• Must be able to keep warehouse clean and orderly
• Need to maintain good business relations with customers who come to the warehouse to pick up material
