Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Jackson, MO is seeking an Extrusion Production Helper. The role involves assisting in material handling, quality checks, sampling for lab testing, and preparing tooling and supplies. No prior experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Use walk-behind pallet movement and weighing rolls to assist in material handling
• Cut cores and pull bubbles or cut air from the web to ensure product quality
• Take samples to the lab for testing and analysis
• Assist in making scrap bales and pulling shafts as needed
• Hang and line up cores, stock machines with supplies such as tape, Q-tips, trim blades, and pallets
• Set and check dyne levels, opacity, gauges, widths, and roll diameters to maintain standards
• Cut and take samples to the lab for quality control

Shift:

Rotating between Days and Nights-work 2 weeks of days and then 2 weeks of Nights-12 Hour shifts 7-7

• Use walk-behind pallet movement and weighing rolls to assist in material handling
• Cut cores and pull bubbles or cut air from the web to ensure product quality
• Take samples to the lab for testing and analysis
• Assist in making scrap bales and pulling shafts as needed
• Hang and line up cores, stock machines with supplies such as tape, Q-tips, trim blades, and pallets
