Job summary

Stanion Wholesale Electric Co. in El Paso, TX, seeks a reliable warehouse associate responsible for receiving, shipping, and inventory control. You will unload stock, prepare orders, ship transfers, and maintain stock locations while communicating with the purchasing team about discrepancies.

Ideal candidates have experience driving, a valid license, ability to lift heavy items, and readiness to obtain a forklift safety certificate. DOT physical required post-offer.

Qualifications

• Experienced drivers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Requires a post offer pre-employment DOT physical.
• Driver’s license that meets job requirements and a motor vehicle driving record that satisfies the requirements of our casualty and liability insurance program.
• Must be able to obtain forklift safety certificate once hired.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds on an infrequent basis and 25 pounds on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Receives deliveries of stock, including unloading inbound materials and returns; prepares and ships inter-Company transfers.
• Prepares and packages orders for delivery according to customer instructions.
• Stocks inventory in proper locations and alerts relevant departments about discrepancies and low stock.
• Attends training sessions and department meetings as requested.

Position Summary

Responsible for receiving and shipping of all merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Receives deliveries of stock, including unloading inbound materials. Receives returned goods and arranges for special shipping orders of stock and non-stock items. Prepares and ships inter-Company transfers.
• Prepares and packages orders for delivery according to customer’s instructions.
• Stocks inventory in proper places in stock bins. Alerts manager/and or purchasing dept of discrepancies in inventory counts. Alerts manager/purchasing dept of low inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
• Attends training sessions and department meetings as requested.

Skills/Physical Demands/Additional Qualifications
