Bakemark is hiring for a warehouse role in Tampa. Under supervision, you will receive, store, select, and load products, ensuring accuracy, productivity, safety, and strong customer service.

You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, fulfill orders, maintain inventory records, and ensure adherence to zero-error standards and safety policies. This position requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, hand jacks, reach trucks and order pickers.
  • Safely operate equipment for the majority of the shift.
  • Select, prepare and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive inbound products with proper documentation and inventory records.
  • Apply pallet tags and labels upon receipt.
  • Move products from receiving to storage locations.
  • Stock items on racks and rotate inventory to keep oldest stock accessible.
  • Read pick tickets and assemble orders for shipment onto pallets.
  • Load trailers and ensure proper loading of merchandise.
  • Maintain inventory and operational data per procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Respond to customer requests promptly and professionally.

Job description

Summary:Under direct supervision, receives, stores, selects, and loads products within the warehouse while ensuring accuracy, productivity, safety, and excellent customer service. Performs warehouse operations and material handling tasks as directed by the immediate supervisor or Operations Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate material handling equipment, including hand jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment for up to 95% of the workday.
  • Select, prepare, and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive inbound products and ensure accurate documentation and inventory records.
  • Apply pallet tags and other identifying labels to materials upon receipt.
  • Transport products and materials from receiving areas to storage locations or other designated areas.
  • Stock items on racks, shelves, or bins according to assigned warehouse locations.
  • Rotate inventory to ensure older stock is readily accessible and used first.
  • Read pick tickets, labels, or electronic displays to assemble customer orders and place them on pallets for shipment.
  • Load trailers with merchandise scheduled for delivery.
  • Record and maintain inventory and operational data as required.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the company's zero-error standards.
  • Meet or exceed established productivity goals and service-level expectations.
  • Follow all company safety policies, government regulations, and safe work practices.
  • Conduct routine inspections of material handling equipment and monitor fluid levels to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Handle products and equipment carefully to prevent damage to company assets, facilities, and inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests and inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Treat internal and external customers with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Support and uphold company policies, values, and standards.
  • Take accountability for individual actions and their impact on customers, coworkers, and company performance.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines outlined in the Employee Handbook and other company communications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs and company objectives.
Qualifications
