Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Day Shift/PRN administrative staff member to support resident services and maintain daily census and rosters. Responsibilities include taking messages, answering calls, and coordinating with nursing supervision on schedule changes.

The role requires maintaining professional communication with staff, residents and visitors, monitoring entry doors, and handling Leave of Absence documentation. Weekend rotation may occur on an every-other-weekend basis.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone, page calls, deliver messages to residents, take messages
• Maintain Daily Census Report
• Maintain an up to date roster of residents
• Keep copies of forms stocked and make/request copies as necessary
• Maintain a daily employee tardy and absentee log
• Contact employees regarding changes in work schedule upon request by nursing supervision
• Assist in finding a replacement for an employee in the event of an absentee employee
• Maintain a professional attitude with staff, residents, family and visitors
• Monitor doors for entry/exit of visitors and residents
• Answer resident call bell system
• Document appropriately resident Leave of Absence forms
• Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by immediate supervisor
• Every other weekend required
