Responsibilities

• Install and mount wireless access points.
• Rack and stack switches, routers, firewalls, servers, storage systems, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Install network cabinets, equipment racks, UPS systems, rack PDUs, and cable management systems.
• Install patch panels, ladder rack, basket tray, conduit, raceways, and cable pathways.
• Perform equipment replacements, relocations, and decommissioning.
• Install equipment according to manufacturer specifications and engineering documentation.
• Pull, route, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling.
• Install single-mode and multimode fiber infrastructure.
• Maintain proper cable routing, bend radius, and support methods.
• Label all cabling according to customer and Myriad360 standards.
• Build clean, organized, and serviceable cable pathways.
• Install rail kits and mounting hardware.
• Mount and cable network, compute, and storage equipment.
• Build clean and organized rack elevations.
• Ensure proper airflow and cable management.
• Verify equipment placement against design documentation.
• Dress copper and fiber cabling to White Glove standards.
• Install and replace enterprise wireless access points.
• Verify proper AP placement and orientation.
• Follow wireless design documentation.
• Assist with wireless validation and post-installation testing.
• Certify copper cabling.

Position Summary

The White Glove Infrastructure Technician is responsible for installing, integrating, testing, and

documenting enterprise networking, wireless, server, and data center infrastructure for customers

across North America.

This role requires exceptional attention to detail, technical craftsmanship, and a commitment to

delivering installations that exceed customer expectations. Successful technicians take ownership

of the finished product and consistently deliver work that is clean, organized, reliable, and built

to last.

What You’ll Do

Enterprise Infrastructure Installation

• Install and mount wireless access points


• Rack and stack switches, routers, firewalls, servers, storage systems, and enterprise IT infrastructure


• Install network cabinets, equipment racks, UPS systems, rack PDUs, and cable management systems


• Install patch panels, ladder rack, basket tray, conduit, raceways, and cable pathways

• Ensure proper airflow and cable management


• Verify equipment placement against design documentation

Wireless Infrastructure

Qualifications

Required

• Experience installing enterprise network infrastructure


• Experience with structured copper and fiber cabling


• Experience mounting wireless access points and network equipment


• Ability to read floor plans, rack elevations, and installation drawings


• Basic understanding of enterprise networking hardware


• Ability to safely use hand and power tools


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel and maintenance

Preferred

• BICSI Installer or Technician Certification


• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification


• Fluke cable certification experience


• Fiber termination and testing experience


• Experience installing Cisco, Juniper, HPE Aruba, Palo Alto, Dell, HPE, or similar

• Experience working in enterprise data centers
