Job summary

OPS Security Group is seeking a professional and highly motivated Armed Security Officer for our Reno, Nevada location. The officer will protect personnel, property, and sensitive information while maintaining a safe environment and delivering excellent customer service.

We are seeking professional and highly motivated Armed Security Officerto join our security team in Reno, Nevada. Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Nevada Driver's License or ability to obtain one if required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
• Proficient in report writing and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military service (Honorable Discharge preferred).
• Previous law enforcement experience.
• Experience working in critical infrastructure, industrial, mining, or government facilities.
• CPR, First Aid, or other emergency response certifications.
• Experience operating CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring systems.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to patrol indoor and outdoor areas in varying weather conditions.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, and respond quickly during emergencies.
• Maintain physical fitness necessary to perform essential job functions.
