Job summary

US LBM Holdings, LLC is seeking a Wall Assembler I to join our team in Elk Grove, CA. The role involves assembling wall components, stocking lumber and plates, and preparing finished products for shipment.

You will follow safety procedures and work under line leaders to ensure efficient production. The position requires basic carpentry experience, the ability to read a tape measure, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

  • High School education or equivalent required.
  • Prior carpentry experience preferred.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
  • Overtime may be required or offered.

Responsibilities

  • Lay out wall component supplies and materials on carts or floor.
  • Stock plates for component set-up.
  • Assemble components under the direction of line leaders.
  • Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.
  • Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
  • Maintain work area by keeping it neat and organized.
  • Assist in the set-up of component assembly process.
  • Monitor production workflow and assist other areas as needed.
  • Operate equipment necessary to the assembly process.
  • Adhere to safety rules and keep a safe environment.
  • Maintain regular attendance per policy.
  • Keep bays and staging areas clean and organized.
  • Provide excellent customer service and participate in a positive work environment.
  • Monitor inventory as required by location management.
  • Be aware of the work environment to ensure error-free results.
