Job summary

Safe Delivery Guys is hiring Amazon Walker Delivery Associates in Houston. This is a walking delivery role with no driving required, delivering packages on foot using a delivery cart and providing friendly, on-time service to customers.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. The position offers 3–5 days per week, 8–10 hour shifts, and benefits including paid training, PTO, health care for full‑time staff, and 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid state ID
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
• Able to walk for long periods with a delivery cart
• Dependable, punctual and safety‑minded

Responsibilities

• Deliver Amazon packages on foot using a delivery cart.
• Walk designated routes and deliver 200+ items per shift.
• Handle packages from small envelopes to 50‑lb boxes.
• Navigate sidewalks, stairs and apartment complexes to reach customers.
• Use company smartphone and delivery app to scan, follow routes, and communicate with dispatch.
• Follow customer delivery instructions with friendly, professional service.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and adhere to safety procedures.
• Work 3–5 days per week, up to 10 hours per day, with weekend shifts.

What You’ll Do as a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier

As a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier you'll stay active, work independently, and be part of a motivated team that safely delivers Amazon packages to customers in your community.

• Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Amazon packages on foot using a delivery cart.

  • Walking designated delivery routes and delivering 200 or more items per shift.

  • Handling packages ranging from small envelopes to boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Navigating sidewalks, apartment complexes, stairs, and other delivery locations.

  • Using a company‑provided smartphone and delivery app to scan packages, follow routes, and communicate with dispatch.

  • Following customer delivery instructions and providing friendly, professional service.

  • Following all company safety procedures while working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Work 3-5 days per week and up to 10 hours per day with shifts available seven days a week
• Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner
• Stay active delivering packages ranging from envelopes to boxes weighing up to 50lbs

Qualifications

What You’ll Need as a Delivery Associate/Foot Courier

• Must be at 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid state ID
• Must be able to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be capable of walking for extended periods while pushing or pulling a loaded delivery cart throughout.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to safety.
• Must be able to work assigned shifts, including weekends when scheduled.
