Job summary

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, Maine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its Walk in Care team. This 32-hour week position treats patients of all ages with minor medical issues on a walk-in basis.

We seek an NP to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a patient-centered team, collaborating with Walk in care and Primary Care Providers, embedded in the Waldo campus Primary Care office.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university; Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program.
• License/Certification: Maine NP License and DEA.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred.
• 2 years' experience as an NP is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide NP-led care for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries in a walk-in setting.
• Collaborate with Walk-in Care team members and Primary Care Providers.
