Job summary

Axium Global is seeking a BIM Designer MEP to develop, maintain, and coordinate detailed 3D BIM models for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems on international projects.

You will work remotely with UK/USA/Australia/UAE stakeholders, using Revit MEP and BIM workflows to deliver coordinated, clash-free designs and construction documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/MEP-related engineering, or a relevant technical qualification.
• ITI/NCTVT certified candidates with relevant MEP/BIM experience may also be considered.
• 3 to 7 years of BIM modelling/design experience in Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, Plumbing, or Fire Fighting.
• Hands-on experience with Revit MEP and relevant BIM software.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of international project standards and experience on UK/USA/Australia/UAE projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting (FF) systems.
• Prepare and update BIM models, layouts, shop drawings, construction documentation, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and other disciplines to minimize clashes.
• Perform clash detection, coordination, and resolution using BIM software.
• Review project drawings, specs, and design requirements to ensure accurate modelling.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Update BIM models based on design changes and project revisions.
• Ensure models and docs comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Support BIM project delivery for international clients.

Job Description:

The BIM Designer MEP will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and coordinating detailed 3D BIM models and technical documentation for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting (FF) systems in building projects.

The role involves working closely with MEP engineers, architects, project managers, and international clients to deliver accurate, coordinated, and clash-free BIM models in accordance with project requirements and relevant standards.

The position is Work From Home, supporting flagship projects for leading MEP design consulting firms across the UK, USA, Australia, and UAE.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting (FF) systems.
• Prepare and update BIM models, layouts, shop drawings, construction documentation, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and other building disciplines to minimize clashes.
• Perform clash detection, coordination, and resolution using relevant BIM software.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and design requirements to ensure accurate modelling.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Update BIM models based on design changes, coordination requirements, and project revisions.

• Support the delivery of BIM projects for international clients across multiple disciplines.

Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/MEP-related engineering, or a relevant technical qualification.
• ITI/NCTVT certified candidates with relevant MEP/BIM experience may also be considered.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in BIM modelling/design in one or more of the following disciplines:
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical / HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Fire Fighting / Fire Protection
• Hands-on experience with Revit MEP and relevant BIM software.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of international project standards and experience working on UK/USA/Australia/UAE projects will be an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Work From Home (WFH)

The selected candidate will work remotely while collaborating with Axium Global's teams and international clients through digital communication and project collaboration platforms.

Compensation:

The selected candidate will receive competitive compensation and remuneration in line with qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
