Qualifications

• Assist teachers with classroom management and daily activities.
• Support students individually and in small groups.
• Assist with classroom tasks, organization, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom management and daily activities.
• Support students individually and in small groups with academic, social, and organizational skills.
• Assist students during classwork by guiding, maintaining focus, and ensuring quality work.
• Support access to lessons through instruction, task breakdown, and material prep.
• Assist with transitions between activities and provide additional support for direct instruction.
• Build trusting relationships and support healthy peer interactions and emotional regulation.
• Observe students to identify interventions and communicate observations to staff.
• Assist with grading, organization, and clerical tasks as needed.
• Support participation in intervention sessions (reading, math, etc.).
• Help administer student medications following delegation requirements.
• Work toward independent supervision during transitions and substitutes.
• Attend weekly faculty meetings and in-service trainings.
• Maintain clear professional communication with families and colleagues.
