Monte Nido Walden in Dedham, MA is seeking an Adult Therapist to provide direct patient care under supervision of the Program Director. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work within a leading national specialty healthcare system focused on eating disorders.

Responsibilities include clinical therapy, psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and collaboration with the Walden continuum.

Qualifications

• PhD, PsyD, Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required or preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorders program.
• CPR certification is required; independent license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical therapy and case management under supervision.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning and discharge planning.
• Manage adult population with potential adolescent cases; conduct individual, group, and family therapy.
• Conduct crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources.
• Ensure timely and professional documentation and collaborate with the treatment team.

The Adult Therapist provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Program Director.

This is a FT position.

Pay: $67,000.00-$110,000.00 depending on education, license and experience

Responsibilities Include

• Provide clinical therapy and case management in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Walden Behavioral Care and the NASW
• Conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in treatment planning, and discharge planning for an average of 6-7 patients.
• Manage cases primarily with the adult population, with the expectation of handling adolescent cases, as needed.
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy.
• Conduct crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources.
• Work to ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with the treatment team and the Walden continuum.
• Maybe required to support virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed, including during periods of low census or to address coverage needs.

Qualifications

• PhD, PsyD, Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct clinical care in a mental health setting, preferably in an eating disorders program
• Independent License preferred
• CPR certification is required
• Must have strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group process, therapeutic relationships processes, age‑specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors.
• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to multitask in a changing and fast‑paced mental health environment
