Job summary

Paragon Social Care is recruiting a Children’s Support Worker to assist young people in Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. You will provide safe, compassionate, trauma‑informed support within residential and community settings, helping young people reach personal goals and develop life skills.

The role involves transporting to education and activities, building trusted relationships, and working with a team of professionals to safeguard and document progress.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to own vehicle for work.
• Ability to work a minimum of 2–3 shifts per week.
• Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
• Desirable: NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Providing safe, trauma‑informed support to children and young people.
