Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Salem, OR is seeking friendly waitstaff to help residents enjoy daily meals and events. You’ll set tables, take orders, and ensure top customer service in a warm, supportive community.

No prior experience is needed; on-the-job training is provided. You’ll work as part of a team, contribute to a clean dining environment, and participate in company benefits such as paid time off and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• General sanitation and safe food handling knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables and take residents’ dining orders.
• Review menus with residents and explain dining options.
• Assist with preparation, delivery, and cleanup of meals, events and banquets.
• Maintain strong teamwork and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize dining room areas and equipment.

What You Will Do As a Waitstaff

• Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide the highest level of customer service.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with the preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events.
• Create a strong sense of teamwork with your colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
