General Description:Responsible for table service to residents. Perform duties in compliance with established company policies and procedures, and performs in a professional manner. Duties include the setting up and clearing of the dining room.Essential Job Functions:Demonstrates ability to take food orderDemonstrates ability to deliver food ordered by residents.Demonstrates positive, courteous and considerate manner to all guests.Responsible for maintaining the dining room in a sanitary and orderly manner.Responsible for any assigned cleaning tasks and/or side jobs.Attends scheduled meetings and inservices.Adheres to unit standards of dress.Performs other duties as required in the Culinary Department.Key Characteristics:Demonstrates neatness, accuracy and dependability.Contributes, develops and carries out new ideas.Demonstrates an ability to work with others.Ability to work independently.Ability to work in cost and time efficient manner.Teaches skills and knowledge to new staff.Wears appropriate clothing/uniform.
