The role requires knowledge of menu items, adherence to sanitation standards, teamwork with kitchen staff, and a customer-focused approach to create memorable experiences for guests attending performances and events.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly in the dining room; take food and beverage orders following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe handling and sanitation standards; check back to assist with needs.
• Demonstrate menu knowledge and ingredients; recommend pairings; note dietary needs and allergens.
• Coordinate with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate orders and special requests.
• Maintain strong communication and teamwork; stay flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Promote a clean, safe, and neat dining environment with sanitation compliance.
• Respect privacy and confidentiality of personal or medical information.
• Address complaints quickly and relay issues to supervisor as needed.
• Ensure dining room is properly set and maintained before/after service; assist with event setup as required.
• Operate equipment such as telephones, beverage machines, and other service devices.
• Collaborate with staff from other departments during events and functions.
