Base pay range

$14.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Job Summary

Ensure all guests are served to the hotel’s standards in the Restaurant / Bar / Lounge areas, demonstrating high hospitality and a welcoming attitude. Take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, present menus, and inform about specials and menu changes.
  • Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed.
  • Enter orders on the POS system, noting any special requests.
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
  • Serve food and beverages in sequence, observing guest satisfaction.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests.
  • Properly open and pour wine tableside.
  • Maintain grooming and appearance standards.
  • Communicate available products and services effectively.
  • Assist with stocking and maintaining restaurant supplies.
  • Support other restaurant functions like answering phones and financial transactions.
  • Handle closing reports and cash deposits per guidelines.
Requirements
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Obtain necessary food handler and alcohol service licenses.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous food service experience is highly desirable.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for menus and orders.
