Morrison Living is hiring immediately for a part-time WAITER/WAITRESS position.

Position Details

• Location: Wesley Bradley Park - 707 39th Avenue South East, Puyallup, WA 98373
• Schedule: Part-time, Saturdays and Sundays, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (more details upon interview)
• Requirement: Previous customer service experience preferred
• Perks: Free shift meals, uniforms, parking
• Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take food and beverage orders following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain food safety and sanitation standards; assist guests as needed.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate special requests and dietary needs.
• Communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure accurate order delivery and special requests.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills; remain flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Handle tickets and cash following proper procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment.
• Respect confidentiality of personal and medical information.
• Address complaints promptly; relay issues to supervisor.
• Set up and clean the dining area before and after service, meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment like fire extinguishers, telephones, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with other departments during special events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
