Position Details:

• Location: Blakeford Senior Life, 11 Burton Hills Blvd, Nashville, TN 37215
• Schedule: Full-time & part-time; various shifts, weekends required. Details provided during interview.
• Requirement: Prior healthcare food service experience preferred but not mandatory.

Job Summary

Summary: Take food and beverage orders and deliver promptly to guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly; take orders efficiently following service standards.
• Deliver food professionally; maintain sanitation standards; assist guests as needed.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders and requests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff; remain flexible and patient.
• Handle tickets and cash transactions properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Respect confidentiality of personal and medical information.
• Address guest complaints promptly and relay to supervisors.
• Prepare dining area before and after service; meet sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment like fire extinguishers, coffee machines, etc.
• Assist during special events and collaborate with other departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
