Unidine is hiring immediately for full-time WAITER/WAITRESS positions.

• Location: Stevenson Oaks Senior Living - 6251 Stevenson Oaks Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76123. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time schedule, 10:30 am - 7:30 pm. Days may vary, including weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Serving experience is required. Senior living experience preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverages efficiently, following established steps of service.
2. Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards. Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
3. Demonstrate understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate requests and note preferences. Knowledge of specialized diets and allergens is a plus.
4. Communicate with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
5. Exhibit excellent communication skills; remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff.
6. Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
7. Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
8. Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
9. Address complaints promptly; relay relevant information to supervisor.
10. Ensure the dining area is properly set up before and after service; keep the area clean and meet sanitation standards.
11. Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
12. Collaborate with other departments during special events and functions.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
