Pay Range

This range is provided by Air Force Special Operations Command. Your actual pay will depend on your skills and experience — consult your recruiter for details.

Base pay range

$17.00/yr - $17.70/yr

Duties

1. Secure linen, glassware, and silverware; prepare tables for service; ensure cleanliness and fill condiment containers.
2. Retrieve food from the kitchen and serve customers, following specific instructions and schedules.
3. Refill containers, perform emergency cleanup, and answer questions about menu items.
4. Clean and prepare tables, including incidental dishwashing and cleaning duties.
5. Take beverage orders, describe or suggest drinks, and serve beverages to patrons.
6. Collect payments and dispense bottled beverages, confections, or tobacco as requested.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Complete pre-employment checks and a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Pass a physical fitness test including a physical lifting requirement.
• Complete required training, including Food Handlers Certification, within specified timeframes.
• Meet age requirements for alcohol service (18+ in Florida).
• Work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

No prior experience required, but wait staff/banquet experience is desirable. Must follow instructions, handle cash procedures, stand and lift for long periods, and communicate effectively with customers. Ability to obtain Food Handler's Certificate and pass background checks is necessary.
