Job summary

Grande Shores Resort in Myrtle Beach invites applications for wait staff/servers. As a server you will welcome guests, take orders, answer questions about the menu, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate, timely service.

You will help create a positive dining experience by maintaining a clean, safe, and friendly atmosphere. This part-time role runs 4:00pm–9:00pm with a starting wage of $5.50 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• High volume experience not required, but helpful.

• Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
• Answer questions about menu items, food sensitivities, and substitutions
• Verifying identification if serving alcoholic beverages

Job Description:

As a server, you will be part of an important role within the hospitality industry. Servers at our establishment make customers feel welcomed and valued. Taking orders and communicating with the kitchen staff are some of the daily duties. Our servers must provide fast, reliable, and friendly service to all guests.

Part-time

Shift 4:00pm-9:00pm

Wage: $5.50 plus tips

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude
• Answer questions about menu items, food sensitivities, and food substitutions
• Verifying identification if serving alcoholic beverages
• Maintain a clean atmosphere at all times
• Maintain a safe environment
• Ensure that all customers are billed correctly

Requirements:

• High volume experience not required, but helpful
• Customer service experience preferred
• Prior experience in the food service industry is a plus
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
