Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

We are currently seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Part-Time Wait Staff to join our Culinary Services team. If you enjoy providing outstanding service, building relationships with guests, and working in a welcoming team environment, we'd love to meet you.

Unlike a traditional restaurant, you'll have the opportunity to get to know our residents while creating a memorable dining experience every day.

Schedule & Perks:

• Part-Time Position (16-20 hours a week)
• Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Every other weekend required

What You'll Do:

As a Dining Server, you'll help create an exceptional dining experience by providing attentive, friendly, and professional service to our residents and guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome residents and guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Answer questions about menu items and provide recommendations
• Serve meals promptly while ensuring accuracy and excellent presentation
• Prepare dining areas before meal service, including beverages, condiments, and table settings
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary dining rooms throughout each shift
• Engage with residents by learning their dining preferences and providing personalized service
• Follow Ginger Cove's dining service standards to deliver an exceptional resident experience
• Complete side work and end-of-shift responsibilitiesMaintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Work collaboratively with culinary and dining room team members
• Perform other duties as assigned

QualificationsJob Qualification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in related culinary and food preparation services preferred.
• Experience in long-term care setting or related health care field preferred.
• Must present self in a professional manner.
• Must possess concern, responsiveness, and tact when dealing with colleagues, residents and their families.
• Must be able to work collaboratively with others to help colleagues to achieve respective goals for creating wellness opportunities and experiences for our residents.
• Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified time frame.
