Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community in Waterloo, IA is seeking wait staff/dining associates for full- and part-time roles. You will serve meals, bus tables, deliver orders, and assist with other dining needs for residents, families, staff, and guests.

You’ll help keep the dining room neat and tidy, assist with dishwashing and light kitchen duties, and bring a friendly, guest‑oriented approach to every shift. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Applicants must pass pre-employment screenings (criminal background checks, abuse registry check, drug test, physical, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Serve food to residents, family members, staff and customers.
• Bus tables and deliver meals.

Friendship Village Retirement Community is seeking full and part time wait staff/dining associate.

As a Dining staff member you are responsible are responsible for serving food, bussing tables, delivering meals and attend to any other dining needs our residents, family members, staff, or other customers may have. In addition, you assist with ensuring the dining room look flawless and everything in the dining room is neat and tidy. You will assist with dishwashing and other kitchen duties as assigned.
