Job summary

Edgewood Summit Inc. is seeking staff to serve Residents meals in a professional manner in a senior living environment. You will implement proper food handling and cleaning techniques to ensure infection control and support quality resident services.

The role involves set-up and cleaning of the Dining Room, assisting food servers with dining services, and maintaining high standards of appearance and hygiene. Availability for holidays and events is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greeting and seating Residents and Guests.
• Taking meal/beverage orders and serving items per policies.
• Maintain side stations and dining areas with a 'clean as you go' policy.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Assist with orientation and training of new food servers.
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation and hygiene.
• Attend all in-services as required.
• Incorporate Pinnacle Standards into daily performance.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Effectively communicate with Residents, guests, employees, and supervisors
• Must be able to work on all Holidays and for pre-planned special events

Position Summary

Serving Residents meals in a professional manner, carrying out the spirit of the "Living in Style" program. Must implement proper food handling and cleaning techniques to ensure optimal infection control. Conduct oneself in a manner in which contributes to an environment conducive to the provisions of quality resident services. Responsible for set-up and cleaning of the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards. Assist food servers with dining services to Residents as needed.

Primary Responsibilities
